Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth Jeremiah 33:6
OUR MISSION We aim to bring the patients of Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center peace and healing through Holy Communion, prayer, and a loving presence. Our goal is to make patients feel loved and cared for in addition to providing support for their loved ones. As volunteers we also seek to strengthen our own growing faiths with every visit.
WHAT WE DO
Eucharistic Minister: Our volunteers have the opportunity to visit Catholic patients at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and share Holy Communion and prayer with them as well as their loved ones. Every volunteer brings their own unique style to the ministry, but generally we offer the Eucharist, pray, and give prayer cards and rosaries to everyone we visit.
Meetings: The aim of our one hour, biweekly meetings is to become better volunteers. We share about our experiences with patients, listen to insightful speakers, and bond as a team.
